Beautiful, thanks, I came across it via a current six part drama on BBC radio 4 drama, available in the UK on BBC sounds, written by Katie Hims, - Listening to the Dead. I vaguely recognised the tune, it's been recorded by Jo Stafford and a couple of Cowboy Campfire Songs by all male cowboys, which it was probably where I first heard it sung on an LP. A song with longevity, remarkable history.
